FAQs
How do I find a veterinarian nearby?
Simply type in your city, state, or zip code in the search bar above to find a veterinary counselor helping people in your area. Finding a veterinarian near you is helpful if you’re seeking in-person veterinary care. With online veterinary counseling, you have more flexibility in choosing a veterinarian best suited for your needs.
Which licensed veterinarian is right for my pet?
Finding the right veterinarian for your pet can seem overwhelming, but you can narrow down your search by considering what type of veterinary counseling you’d like to pursue. Take a few minutes to read through some veterinarian profiles to see their different areas of expertise.
How long do I have to wait to get an appointment with a veterinarian?
After taking our short questionnaire, you can instantly message the veterinarian that you’ve been matched to and schedule a time with them for a live counseling session. You can message your veterinarian as often as you would like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online veterinary counseling typically allows you to connect with a veterinarian more often than in-person does.
How much does counseling cost?
Traditional in-office veterinary services typically cost €40 – €70 per visit, while online veterinary counseling ranges from €15 – €20 per week (billed every four weeks).
With face-to-face veterinary services, you’re paying for one live visit to the vet, and you generally cannot contact your veterinarian between visits. With online veterinary counseling, you’re paying for one live counseling session per month, as well as the ability to message your veterinarian 24/7. With VeterinaryDAO veterinary counseling, veterinarians typically check their messages once or twice a day.
VeterinaryDAO is currently under development and is not yet available as a public service. We’re building in public and for the public, and we deeply value your support and interest in our journey. Dismiss
