Veterinarians on VeterinaryDAO are credentialled, trained, and experienced. Veterinarians must have a relevant academic degree in their field, at least 3 years of experience, and have to be qualified and credentialled by their respective professional organization after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training, practice, and ongoing supervision requirements.
With VeterinaryDAO membership gifts, you will be purchasing a VeterinaryDAO subscription for your friend’s or family’s pet that renews every 4 weeks. The subscription starts when your recipient begins using veterinary care. You can choose to stop covering for the veterinary care costs at any time. If you stop, your friend or family can continue out of pocket without any interruption. We will also stop renewing the subscription if your friend or family decides to stop their VeterinaryDAO service.
The cost of veterinary assistance through VeterinaryDAO ranges from €50 – €70 per week (billed every 4 weeks) and it is based on your location, preferences, and veterinarian availability. You can cancel your membership at any time, for any reason.
The membership renews every 4 weeks. If you choose to stop paying for your recipient’s veterinary counseling, they will have the option to continue paying for their own membership without interruption. We will also stop renewing the subscription if your friend or family decides to stop their VeterinaryDAO service.
With your gift email, we will send the recipient a link to our questionnaire to understand their needs and preferences. Based on their answers, we will match them to the veterinarian that’s best for them. If they are not satisfied with the veterinarian that they are matched to, they can switch veterinarians with the click of a button.
If you believe your pet is in need of urgent care – don’t use this site. VeterinaryDAO is designed to offer remote consultations for non-urgent matters.
